Nepal Mission

In Nepal, you will be serving in a community where the church itself was established to reach out to lepers, those with special needs, the poor, the homeless, the sick, and the dying. Hundreds of people flock to this place out of desperation. They are looking for a meal and medication, but will find so much more by the love and hope through Christ.

Your partnership church houses hundreds of people from all over Nepal who come to Kathmandu for medical attention. Many of them have traveled for days or weeks just to get there, often by foot, with no food or proper clothing. You will build relationships with these people in the midst of their pain, sitting with them as they wait, praying with them at their bedsides, or holding them through the grief of a lost loved one.

You will also help by distributing food baskets and supplies to the poor and to the leper colonies. Just to touch the hand of a leper seems like a small gesture, but in reality it means so much more. You will put your words into action by showing them the face of Jesus as you look into their eyes and spend time with these dear people.

Come on this trip expecting this: that the hope of Jesus Christ that lives in you will spread to those who are most desperate for it. Come, expecting to be broken. Expecting to be challenged. Expecting to be changed. Come, and walk where few people are willing to walk, expecting to be His hands and feet extended.
