Financial Responsibility

Global Storm is a short-term mission ministry of All Nations Family, Inc. (“AN KC”) in line with its exempt organizational purposes. Therefore, AN KC will receive, process, and expend only funds for Global Storm that are in line with AN KC charitable purposes. AN KC is classified for federal tax law purposes as a public charity, exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.

AN KC exercises discretion and control over all contributions, according to IRS stipulations. All resources must be used and accounted for in accordance with the donor-intended purposes.

Global Storm is a joint partnership between AN KC and Hard Places Community (HPC), and thereby all trip income will be disbursed according to the budgeted amounts previously agreed upon between AN KC and HPC.

Global Storm trip participants may fundraise part or all of the funds needed for the trip. All contributions for Global Storm are tax deductible for mission trips that are preauthorized by AN KC and which furthers its exempt purposes. None of the preauthorized mission trips should involve significant element of personal pleasure, recreation, or vacation. These contributions made in part or in full by either participants or non-participants, may be receipted by AN KC as charitable contributions.

All trip payment must be paid in full prior to the trip. If a participant does not receive all the necessary monies, then Global Storm will hold the amount paid for up to one year from the start of the trip that was applied for.  All trip monies for individual participant will NOT be returned or transferred to another person. The money can be held for the participant for up to one year from the start of the trip applied for.

Global Storm will hold funds in a dedicated account, and no other private or ministry funds shall be co-mingled in that account. Global Storm shall keep records and receipts of each funding transaction.  All records and accounting shall be open and publicly accessible, and AN KC shall make such books and records available to significant donors and auditors, upon a reasonably requested time period.

Global Storm will issue all receipts and statements to donors and trip participants in a timely manner. During mission trips, trip leaders will oversee, record, and collect receipts for all trip expenses, which will be turned in to the Global Storm office upon the conclusion of the trips.

Confidential Medical and Psychological Information
Your answers to sensitive areas of your past do not necessarily disqualify you from Global Storm missions. Our interest is to see that progress is being made in all areas of your life and that you are ready to enter this next step in your development. If there are any questions on the medical, psychological, and/or moral areas of this application that you would prefer to discuss in person during the interview process, please inform us upon submitting your application. (These sections give you unlimited space for explanation should they be necessary. In your explanations, include any benefit you received from any counseling or professional help.)
Confidential Morals Information
The Bible makes it clear that we should avoid sexual immorality (1 Thes. 4:3-6). Though God’s forgiveness is full and complete, there is a distinction between forgiveness for sins and necessary, biblical suitability for spiritual leadership. 1 Timothy 3 outlines qualifications necessary for those who desire to be spiritual leaders. Those qualifications include being above reproach and having a good reputation. In light of this, Global Storm is highly concerned about the area of moral purity for course participants. It is critical that everyone exhibit strong convictions and a lifestyle consistent with biblical standards. A past problem in this area doe not necessarily disqualify you, provided: (1) it can be determined that convictions are strong and consistent with Scripture and (2) a sufficient time tested track of victory has been established. The information that you share with us will be treated confidentially and will be seen only by those directly involved with your application decision. If there are any questions on the medical, psychological, and/or moral areas of this application that you would prefer to discuss in person during the interview process, please inform us upon submitting your application.
